KARACHI:
Monday, 1st October is the last date for change of old design big size
note of Rs500 from State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) s field offices as well
as from all branches of the commercial banks, Geo News
reported.Following the expiry of this deadline, SBP would not be liable
to change this note to any person or bank or for the payment of any
amount in exchange of it, said a handout issued here by SBP. SBP has
once again advised the public to get the old design big size Rs500 note
changed by Monday, 1st of October within banking hours from SBP field
offices and over 10,000 branches of the commercial banks across the
country.
