ISLAMABAD: Government has approved summery of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) pertaining to decrease in petroleum product prices, Geo News reported.OGRA, under weekly revision of POL prices, had sent a summary proposing a reduction in the POL prices to the ministry of petroleum.It had suggested Rs 6 per litre cut in petrol price, 14 paisa in diesel, kerosene oil by 40 paisa light diesel by 95 paisa and CNG prices by Rs 5 per kg.With this approval, the new prices of petrol would be Rs 102.45 per litre, diesel Rs 113.16, kerosene oil Rs 101.23 and light diesel Rs 96.22 per litre.Meanwhile, CNG prices have been deceased by Rs 5.49 per kg in region-I and Rs 5.2 in region-II.The new prices would be effective from October 01 after the final notification of OGRA.
