HTC and Samsung Components

As Apple has done in the past, HTC has reportedly begun reducing dependency on Samsung components for its future range of mobile phones.
HTC has quietly decreased its dependency on Samsung components for its upcoming range of smartphones, following in Apples footsteps. The Taiwanese vendor is reducing collaboration specifically on CMOS image sensors for the camera, switching from Samsung to OmniVision and Sony providers.
In addition to the sensors, HTC will also be shifting part of its AMOLED panel orders to AU Optronics. Currently seen in its mid-range to high-end smartphones, the Super LCD panel has been HTCs product of choice, which have also been produced by Sony.
